David BELIEN
David Beliën studied at the art academy in Tilburg. Three years after graduating, he decided to further explore his fascination with glass and began his studies at the glass school in Železny Brod and Novy Bor in the Czech Republic. Since then he has worked and experimented in various glass studios around the world. Beliën is both interested in mastering old techniques and in finding new applications for these techniques. Characteristic of Beliën's work is his use of clear basic shapes in combination with textured or otherwise striking skin.
