Frans van Eijk was a Dutch painter and graphic artist who studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Rotterdam. Van Eijk became known for his style, which can be called symbolic, and the use of different materials, such as oil paint, colored pencils, tempera and graphics. Van Eijk exhibited, among others, in "De Doelen" in Rotterdam.
