Johannes Theodorus (Jean) Nies (Deurne, 23 July 1924 - 24 March 2018) is a Dutch painter.[1] He was one of the founders of the art center 'De Vrije Expressieven', together with Jan van Gemert, Johan Lennarts and Jan Kuhr, among others. His work is in the possession of Museum Kempenland in Eindhoven.
