Artist
Jessica Homich is an American glassblower. She studied in California and attended a glassblowing workshop in Leerdam. Out of her enthusiasm she then became an assistant to Marek Bartko, who accidentally needed an assistant. In this way she became a glassblower herself and she worked on her own designs. In her design process, she gives glass space and freedom, in order to create organic shapes. She herself uses the term twists : strings and strips of glass that are contained in a glass object.
