It remains a challenge to shape it in my own way.
I find the vertical elements, such as poles and trees, so attractive because of the graphic effect.
The composition is often made up of separate parts that are nevertheless connected to each other. Like memory consists of fragments that are connected and can slide past and over each other.
Text appears in many works, sometimes a single line or a few words that indicate another layer. Not always easy to read, and it doesn't have to be. They are part of the dialogue I enter into with the work while I am at it.
