Nanny STILL (Helsinki 1926 - Brussels 2009)
Finnish glass artist. During the golden age of the Finnish art industry in the 1950s, Still was one of the great names of design.
Graduated from the Central School of Art and Design (now University) Metal Arts Department in 1949. That same year, she won the Nordic Riihimäki glass design competition, which resulted in her being hired to work in the factory. She is best known for her work at Riihimäki Glass.
Won the Pro Finlandia Medal in 1972.
