Piet BULTHUIS (Gouda 1898 - Middelburg 1988).
Lived and worked in Gouda, The Hague, Kijkduin, Zierikzee, Middelburg. Student of the Akademie v. BK in The Hague (obtained MO marks A and B) led by Fr. Jansen and H. Meijer, modeling led by BMA IngenHousz (act MO modelling). Painted, watercoloured, drew (especially pen drawings) landscapes, cityscapes, sea, portraits and still lifes. Also wood engravings and woodcuts, is also a sculptor. Excellent visual artist, Has taught drawing at the Nutsscholen in The Hague, the Rijks HBS in Zierikzee and the RijksH.BS in Middelburg.
