Pieter van der BRUG, born 18-4-1897 in Woudsend and died 12-10-1993 in Hindeloopen, painter, muralist, draftsman, watercolorist, pastelist, pen painter. Largely self-taught and worked as a house painter. He received lessons from Dick Osinga (1913-1997). Gave lessons to Bauke Jan Schilstra (1883-1979). Worked in Woudsend, Amsterdam (1918-1928) and Hindeloopen. Subjects: figure representation, landscape, cityscape, portrait. Was a member of Member of the Frisian Artists' Association? Pieter van der Brug, (W_ldsein, 18 April 1897 - Nijefurd, 12 October 1993), was a visual artist. He mainly made drawings, paintings and murals. Works abstractly and non-figuratively.
