The Doors, a band from Los Angeles, were considered one of the biggest and most important bands of the 1960s. The music is a mixture of blues, rock, psychedelic music, classical music and jazz. Jim Morrison's incendiary and uncompromising performance made their performances radical and controversial. Many times Jim Morrison recited his self-written poems.
