Education 1970 - 1972 Graphic School, Eindhoven 1972 - 1975 City Academy, Maastricht 1976 - 1978 Ateliers '63, Haarlem
Participant in the artists' institute De Ateliers from 1976 to 1978 (with Bert Boogaard and Marlene Dumas, among others), he acquired his reputation in the 1980s when he exhibited at leading galleries such as The Living Room (Amsterdam) and Juana d'Aizpuru (Madrid). His work is included in the collections of, among others, the Rijksmuseum and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and De Lakenhal in Leiden.
