After the Second World War, four photographers with four different individual styles decided to join forces. From this came Magnum Photos. Magnum Photos engages in in-depth photojournalism, capturing many events and people since the 1930s. Magnum Photos has been a defining feature of journalistic and documentary photography ever since. Membership to Magnum Photos is therefore strict and not for everyone.
