Circle of Visual Artists R'33

Circle of Visual Artists R'33 can be seen as the successor of the Branding. This Rotterdam artists' association fought against capitalism and was the only group in Rotterdam that stood up for artists' interests. During the Second World War, the R'33 was disbanded. In 1945, however, new life was revived, after which it turned out that there was no future in the association.
