Alfons Blomme (1889-1979) was een Belgische kunstenaar die naast het schilderen ook beelden heeft gemaakt. Hij werd geboren in Roeselare waar hij zijn eigen museum creëerde in België. Rome Prize in 1920 en oprichter van de Academie voor Schone Kunsten Oostende. De verf ligt dik op het werk, voornamelijk bij de bloemen waardoor het een mooi plastisch effect krijgt.
