Een prachtig kunstwerk ( "heuvellandschap", pastel op papier ) van de Nederlandse kunstschilder Dirk Jacobus van Balen (1889-1970). Veluwse school. Met een mooie witte lijst en passe-partout. Het werk is rechts onder gesigneerd. Het kunstwerk is te bezichtigen bij Kunsthandel Martins te Wolvega en wordt geleverd met een echtheidscertificaat.
Biografie:
Dirk Jacobus van Balen (1889, Den Helder - Arnhem, 1970) was een kunstschilder, aquarellist en pastellist. Hij was autodidact. Van Balen schilderde en tekende vooral landschappen en werkte hoofdzakelijk in en rondom Oosterbeek (Renkum). Hij behoort tot de Veluwse School kunstenaars.
