Prachtig, zwaar bronzen beeld, Hasselter Aken door de bekende Nederlandse beeldhouwer, graficus en medailleur Eric Claus.
Mooi patina.
Is gesigneerd wat op zich al uniek is, daar hij zelden zij kunstwerken signeerde. Eric Claus (Haarlem, 3 juni 1936) maakte veel beelden in openbare ruimtes en musea.
Van dit beeld staat het grote beeld in Hasselt, Overijssel. Er zijn in 2000 slechts enkele beeldjes van deze afmetingengemaakt.
Het betreft 2 zeilende Hasselter Aken, schepen die in de 19e eeuw in Hasselt werd gebouwd.
Gesigneerd: Claus en 2000.
