Ernst Moritz Engert: "Elephants / Trinitas", screen print after a silhouette from 1930, hand print, numbered, 29.5 x 42 cm. Beautiful work by the well-known expressionist bohemian, scissor cutter and shadow player (1892-1986), who in the 1960s - being prevented from working with scissors and paper due to an increasing visual impairment - decided to reproduce his existing silhouettes using the screen printing process in manual prints.
