Een schitterend kunstwerk (landschap met koeien, olieverf op doek) van de Nederlandse kunstschilder Frits Maris (1873-1935). 2e Generatie Haagse School. Heel mooi gelijst. Gesigneerd links onder. De afmetingen met lijst: 50cm. x 67 cm. De doekmaat is: 35 cm. x 50 cm. De conditie van het kunstwerk is goed. Het werk is te bezichtigen bij Kunsthandel Martins anno 2018 te 2e Exloermond (Drenthe) en wordt geleverd met een echtheidscertificaat.
Biografie:
Frits Maris (1873 Den Haag - voorburg 1935) is een neef van de grote Marissen. Hij kreeg les aan de academie in Den Haag en daarna van Willem Maris en Jan Toorop. Door Jan Toorop kreeg Frits Maris belangstelling voor het pointillisme. Zijn landschappen, figuren en stadsgezichten zijn doorgaans helder en bijzonder van kleur. Frits Maris schilderde vooral veel bloem- en fruit stillevens. Bron: Pieter Scheen.
