Hannes POSTMA (Haarlem 1933)
Hannes Postma volgde zijn opleiding aan de Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam en woont en werkt in Amsterdam.
Beeldend kunstenaar Hannes Postma verwierf in de jaren zestig internationale bekendheid met zijn series grote kleuretsen. Met enkele oud-leerlingen van de Rotterdamse academie vormde hij een dadaïstisch groepje dat tot doel had kunstzinnige projecten te realiseren waarin de invloed van de meester of de invloed van de kunstgeschiedenis wordt ontmaskerd. Vanaf 1978 vond hij aansluiting bij de Nieuwe Figuratie.
