Hans Forster (also hafor) (1917-1994) Hans Forster comes from a family of craftsmen in the canton of Thurgau. He spent his childhood in an orphanage and learned a trade. For a long time he lived and worked in Zurich and later in Zug. H. Forster's unmistakable, abstract painting style never ceases to fascinate. He played excellently with the two opposites of light and dark. From 1947 he dealt intensively with painting. 1955 – 1956 scholarship from the city of Zurich – stay in Paris.
