When purchasing, a work of art can always be picked up, but by appointment, in Diemen (near Amsterdam, a few minutes from the A10 ring road). The collection period is very long; you can possibly pick up the work weeks or even months later and, if possible, combine it with a visit to (the) Amsterdam area for other matters. In that case you will, of course, save any shipping costs.
