The etching was created by the artist in 2008 and published by Griffelkunst Hamburg. Signed and dated in pencil lower right. "The pictorial world in Henning Kle's etchings is martial and opulent. Overall reduced in form, they seem like miniature versions of the large-format paintings. They have lost none of their subliminal threatening atmosphere. (...) They are surrounded by a certain loneliness and disorientation , an astonishment at the strange place they have landed in. This impression is reinforced by playing with perception patterns and differences in size: the oversized Transformer figure at the center of the Unickron sheet makes those nearby look disproportionately small in the face of overwhelming power of the pop culture quote freeze."
