Van 1944 tot 1952 volgde Juan Ripollés avondschool tekenen aan de Francisco Ribalta School in Castellon. In 1952 verhuisde hij naar Parijs om in 1963 naar Spanje terug te keren.Waar hij woont en werkt in het achterland van Castellon. Schilderijen, beelden in brons en glas en materie-etsen. De beelden in glas worden vervaardigd in Murano (Venetië)
o.a. in Valencia heeft hij grote monumentale beelden staan. Hij werd geerd met een groot boek van zijn gehele oeuvre en de eervolle prijs ´merites de artes.´
