Luigi Kasimir - The baroque abbey of the town of Melk on the Danube, Austria.

Luigi Kasimir is among Austrian art lovers  a celebrated artist. He traveled all over the world and made very beautiful etchings there. Paris, London, Berlin, New York etc.  The etching offered here takes place in Austria. The building, located on the slope of the Danube, still exists and the abbey contains the most beautiful works of art. It dates from before the year 1000  and, together with the surrounding landscape of the Wachau, is on the world heritage list. The abbey is governed by the monks of the Benedictine order.
