Maria Wallenstål-Schoenberg - Color Contrasts 2 - Sold

In the series of her monotypes "Color Contrasts", Maria Wallenstål-Schoenberg declines the color in its contrasts, the warm-cold contrast - where, as with gray, it is also about the finest temperature differences -, the brightness contrast - such as with the blue tones - , the complementary contrast – like red/green – , the colorful-in-itself-contrast – like orange to red -, the quality contrast – like the muted red and blue tones – as well as the simultaneous contrast, i.e. the direct interaction of the colors in relation to the perception of quantity.
