Nic Jonk was a real family man. Nic Jonk is seen as one of the Netherlands' most important post-war sculptors. There are more than 250 statues of his hand in public places in the Netherlands. In 1965 he founded the museum and sculpture garden Nic Jonk; this life's work was continued after his death by his son Zeger and daughter-in-law Annelies.
