POIRIER Ray was born in Maine-et-Loire in 1938. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Tours. He is a lithographer painter in the impressionist style. He mainly paints landscapes and Provencal farms, he produces his works with a brush and a knife. His first exhibition took place in France in 1977, after which he exhibited in Lille, Paris, Le Touquet, Deauville, Draguignan. He has also exhibited in Belgium, Spain, Italy, Brazil, the United States and Japan. He was present at the galleries "Au Chemin Vert" in Biot in 1984, Cimaises" in Paris in 1983, at the "Chevalier d'Eon" in Salon de Provence in 1999 and "Aquarius" in Cannes in 1984 and 1985.
