Powerful signature work by Serge Poliakoff. Aquatint etching on paper, unsigned . In a clean frame, behind glass and with a flawless, acid-free passe-partout. All in very good condition. Literature: Poliakoff - Catalog raisonné estampes/prints, p. 226-227 No. XVII.
This etching was attached to the catalog of the exhibition "Serge Poliakoff" in the gallery Der Spiegel (Cologne) in 1964, the edition was only 300 pieces. It was a double-sided insert, so issued with a fold.
