Thomas Heesakkers wel gekend in binnen en buitenland
Geboren op 12 september 1946 op het Brabantse platteland heeft Thomas Heesakkers zich laten gelden als een zeer begaafde bloemen- en stilleven schilder.
Het leven in Nederland was zo kort na de Tweede Wereldoorlog niet gemakkelijk. Toch was de jonge Thomas vastberaden in zijn pogingen tot de kunstacademie te worden toegelaten. Dit lukte uiteindelijk om te worden tot de begaafde kunstenaar van nu. Na vier jaar academie, bezoeken aan diverse musea en nog diverse privélessen heeft Thomas een geheel eigen kleur en beleving aan zijn schilderijen gegeven.
Thomas Heesakkers schildert in olieverf en prefereert grootformaat schilderijen. Zowel zijn stillevens als zijn landschappen zijn in de romantische stijl en zijn werken volgen nauwkeurig de traditionele Hollandse School met haar grote diepte, intensiteit en rijk kleurpalet
Zijn schilderijen vinden gretig aftrek en vinden hun weg naar menig privécollectie over de gehele wereld. Thomas exposeerde reeds in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Eindhoven, Venlo en meermaals in Engeland.
