Doekmaat 58x71 cm. Lijstmaat 75,6x88,2x7,5 cm.
Het werk heeft enige lichte craquelé (in de lucht) en de lijst heeft gebruikssporen.
Tinus de Jongh werd geboren te Amsterdam op 31 januari 1885 en overleed te Bloemfontein (Z-Afrika) op 17 juli 1942.
Als schilder autodidact.
Emigreerde op 1 januari 1921 naar Kaapstad (Z-Afrika).
Is in Zuid-Afrika zéér bekend om zijn landschappen.
Schilder, tekenaar en etser van stadsgezichten en landschappen.
