Prachtig werk - van een Nederlandse kunstenaar - Summer is bijzonder van kleur en verfijning.
Dit stuk maakte eerder deel uit van de kunstveiling collectie.
Toelichting Arty Grimm:
Schilder, graficus, beeldhouwer, textielkunstenaar.
Geboren te Rotterdam in 1950.
Opleiding:
Arty Grimm volgde haar opleiding aan de Academie voor beeldende kunsten in Djokjakarta, Indonesië.
Ze woont en werkt afwisselend in Amsterdam en Acquoy (Geldermansen).
Arty Grimm zegt dat haar werk haar wereld representeert en vooral om de beleving gaat. Ze werkt dan ook zonder vooropgezet plan, zonder schets of ondertekening, maar begint gelijk met schilderen. Een inspiratie voor Grimm is literatuur, wat ook heeft geresulteerd in een samenwerking met Cees Nooteboom: zij maken samen zeefdrukken en gedichten, gerelateerd aan hetzelfde thema. Arty Grimm is getrouwd met de Spaanse kunstenaar Miguel Ybañez.
