Bjorn Wiinblad - nymolle cutting board/cutting board

Nymølle studio pottery and art pottery were made in Denmark from about 1946 to 1975. Before World War II the company was called Fuurstrøm. Almost all pottery production during the first decade after the war was designed by Bjørn Wiinblad (1918-2006). His tableware designs with line drawings in red, blue or black are exemplary of Nymølle and his series of plates for the months of the year were very successful in the 1960s. . In the mid-1970s the parent company went bankrupt and all interests were sold except Nymølle. Finally, Wiinblad took over the Nymølle factory in 1976.
These 2 cutting boards are in good condition, signed and are sold as a set.
