Beautiful, original edition with the highly sought-after 1st four Kandinsky editions of Derriere le Miroir (no. 42 from 1951, no. 60-61 from 1953, no. 77-78 from 1955 and 101-102-103 from 1957). This rare artist's edition was specially bound by Maeght, the publisher of Derriere le Miroir, and contains a total of 21 lithographs and woodcuts by Kandinsky. In very good condition.

The original DLM editions about Kandinsky are already difficult to obtain (and therefore expensive) in any case, but complete copies are also becoming rarer because they are stripped for the individual lithographs and woodcuts.
